Congratulations to the lucky, talented three!
It would seem that the CTZ Short Story Competition Judges have chosen a clear winner! But they are taking their time deciding which entries will claim second and third place. One Judge told us that ‘The quality of writing from first-time entrants has been amazing’.
The winners will be notified as soon as both second and third place has been agreed. The winner in first place will have his/her story published in Cafe Three Zero’s next ebook ‘RANDOM’ available from 10th November 2012, and the two runners-up will have their stories posted here on our blog for everyone to see. All three winners will also receive a CTZ certificate to put on their walls.
We at Café Three Zero would like to thank everyone who entered our first short story competition. It’s lovely to have such a great following.
The judges are now hard at work making their way through the pile and we hope to have a result for you all very soon. The winners will be notified personally and we will also post their names here for you all to see.
Good luck to all who entered. And for those of you who didn’t, we hope to hear from you in our next competition – so keep writing!
We at Cafe Three Zero are looking for original, previously unpublished short stories from aspiring writers to be published in our third e-book ‘Random‘, and have opened a competition to assist us in our search.
To enter the competition you must write a story between 3000 and 5000 words based on this short synopsis ‘A family’s life changes forever after election night’. Please be original and imaginative.
The winner’s story will be published in Cafe Three Zero’s next e-book anthology and two runners-up will have their stories published on our blog, website and any other outlets we feel appropriate. We ask for FER rights and Archival rights for 1 year.
If you have a story you would like to enter in this competition, please email us with a 12 point font, double spaced word document containing your manuscript and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for all entries is midnight on the 31st July 2012.
We will accept all genres except graphic erotica.
Cafe Three Zero are pround to announce their first fiction competition.
For this competition we will be giving you a randomly selected, newly created synposis. You must write a short story between 3000 and 5000 words based on the synopsis we provide. The winning story will be published in our next ebook anthology and two runners up will have their stories published on our blog and website.
Further details of the competition, along with T&C’s and submission details, will be released Wednesday 16th May 2012.
