Jim Mcilroy comes to the world of literature to write for pleasure following a career as an engineer. His stories are intended to be uplifting and light hearted with the occasional serious novel, one of which is currently under development. He owes his interest in creative writing to the Open University, and the good natured students and staff who have inspired and encouraged him. Other interests include constructing computers for fun, and travel to the Far East or further. He is proud to be a member of Cafe Three Zero.
